Online advertising or pay-per-click (PPC) advertising can be one of the most effective ways for your company to enter the world of online marketing. When done well, PPC ads can transform a business, but doing PPC well means maintenance and tracking that can be both time consuming and confusing.
As with all of our marketing efforts, That’s My Idea helps clients plan, implement and maintain PPC advertising. Information is power and that has never been more true than when embarking on a PPC campaign. Upfront research of keywords and estimated cost per click, testing of landing pages, and continual tracking as well as adjustments are the keys to making PPC advertising profitable.
Google Ads (previously knows as Google Adwords) is a one of many PPC advertising vehicles. Most people are familiar with the text ads that appear in search results. Ads in this space are placed based on many factors that include relevancy, landing page experience, and bid price. The bid price, surprisingly, is NOT the most important factor in where your ad is placed in the list. Just like organic placement, paid advertising on Google is mostly determined by how well you’ve crafted your overall campaign and landing page.
The Bing platform also has PPC ads. Similar in setup to Google Ads, as the second largest search platform it’s one we encourage our clients to consider in their overall PPC advertising campaign.
